Racine: ICE Out Now
Less than one week after ICE's killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, another person has died during an ICE operation in Biddeford, Maine.
In recent weeks, ICE detentions have surged to 2,000 per day across the country—a massive escalation driven by the White House and backed by billions in additional ICE funding. The growing influx of ICE agents into our communities is a threat to us all. This reckless repression puts everyone at risk and has already resulted in tragic deaths.
Back in January, U.S. citizens Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti were killed during an ICE operation in the Twin Cities. We continue to demand justice for Renee, Alex, Lorenzo, and all victims of ICE terror.
Immigrants are essential members of our communities and should never be forced to live in constant fear of detention and deportation. From Texas to Maine to Racine, we demand not only ICE out of our communities, but full and equal rights for all immigrants.
Join us in Racine this Saturday as part of the national call to say: ICE OUT NOW!

Community coming out because they are exhausted by the chaos rather than sitting at home angry that our democracy, inalienable rights and justice for all are being eroded. Action is the antidote to anxiety.
Meeting in front of the Target sign on Sundays. Parking is readily available. We spread out along Miller Parkway and display our pro-democracy signs and encourage joiners. Raising awareness and gaining more to the movement is our goal. We would like to have themed messaging and try to announce that to the people who sign up. The themes are determined by what chaos is happening that week.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. No weapons of any kind are allowed.
It's always good to smile and wave :) Come with or without a sign. We will have extras. We like to get a photo together at the end and we do post online. We also will have pickers to pick up trash in the area for those who are so inclined. Looking forward to meeting you!
Time: 2:00pm-3:30pm
For those who would like to meet more people, we go to a local restaurant after our event. Talk to us after for details.

Brookfield: One America, No Trump
Time to gather again, hit the streets, and let everyone who passes by know we won’t be satisfied until we get our government back.
Join us at our June 27th event to renew your personal resolve and commitment to the cause, support one another, give hope to supporters who pass by, and “plant seeds” in the minds of those on the verge of rejecting Trump. We're in it to win it.
Demonstrate against Donald Trump and his administration for their authoritarian takeover of our government, the destruction of essential institutions, programs, healthcare, and social justice reforms, the suppression of free speech, the political vengeance, the extortion, the cruel immigration actions, the incompetence, the arrogance, and the corrupt practices of the president and his family.
Expect an email covering important event location and other details in a few days.

Racine: Healthcare is Critical in Racine
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/971468/
Wisconsin families are in crisis and Wisconsin hospitals are at risk of closure. When Tom Tiffany, Rep. Tony Wied , Rep Bryan Steil, and Rep. Derrick Van Orden voted for the "Big Ugly Bill," they chose tax cuts for corporations and billionaires over health care for working people. The consequences are real: an estimated 276,000 Wisconsinites are losing Medicaid coverage, ACA premiums have surged, and families across the state are being forced to choose between medical care and financial survival.
Join us in Racine as the Ambulance Tour rolls into your community. You'll hear directly from medical professionals and community members about what these cuts mean on the ground — for patients, for families, and for Wisconsin's health care system.
We are calling on Rep. Tom Tiffany, Rep. Tony Wied , Rep Bryan Steil, and Rep. Derrick Van Orden to stop giving tax breaks to billionaires and to fund healthcare for the 276,000 wisconsinites that are going to lose it.
