St. Francis: Hold Bryan Steil Accountable
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/849672/
We are building our movement to ensure Rep. Bryan Steil knows that Wisconsinites don't want hundreds of thousands of our neighbors to lose their Medicaid, we don't want thousands losing food assistance, we don't want more tax breaks for the rich while working people pay the price.
Join us and make a five minute stop at his Saint Francis office and fill out a “Comment Form." All comments are registered and categorized by his staff We need to show Bryan Steil that his constituents don't
Whitewater: Sign Brigade
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/841840/
The Whitewater Neighborhood Action Team and South WI Indivisible are hosting a Sign Brigade every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. This Visibility event exists for the purpose of bringing awareness to the injustices of the current political environment we live in. This is a peaceful protest so please do your best to de-escalate!
Bring a sign, a friend, and your voice!
We'll meet at 3:00pm on the sidewalk between the McDonald's and Walgreens. Even if you can't be there the whole time, please come. Your voice is important!
Do: Bring a sign that will POP with contrasting colors! Put your message on there; what's important to you? A short message is the easiest to read, but be as creative as you'd like! (We have signs if you don't!) Wear weather-appropriate clothing, come in something comfortable!
Don't: Engage with trolls, haters, or rage baiters. Once they realize they aren't getting the reaction they want, they'll leave you alone! Weapons of any kind, even if legal, are not allowed.

Brookfield: Health Care not Wealth Care
https://www.mobilize.us/brookfieldresist/event/864519/
Thanks to the he Republican Congress, many Americans will soon see a doubling of their healthcare premiums. The shutdown will also affect 700,000 Wisconsinites in the Food Share program which includes 250,000 children. For this reason, we will also be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items for the Waukesha Food Pantry at this demonstration.
We will be continue to demonstrate against Donald Trump and his administration for their authoritarian takeover of our government, the destruction of essential institutions, programs, healthcare, and social justice reforms, the suppression of free speech, the political vengeance, the extortion, the cruel immigration actions, the incompetence, the arrogance, and the corrupt practices of the president and his family.
Expect an email covering important event location and other details in a few days.
