We envision a Wisconsin where grassroots power resists oligarchy, fascism, and systemic oppression and builds a future rooted in our core values. We support the people’s right to shape our own future, protect our own resources, and organize democratically free from corporate and political domination.

MISSION:

Wisconsin Resist is a grassroots movement that organizes and mobilizes people in Wisconsin to practice mutual aid and direct action to fight all forms of oppression, including fascism.

Equity – We demand fair treatment, access, and opportunity for all, recognizing that true justice requires addressing historic and systemic inequalities.

Solidarity – We stand with marginalized communities in organized resistance, collective action, and civic engagement.

Thriving – We advocate for policies and practices that improve the wellbeing of everyone in Wisconsin.

DECOLONIAL COMMITMENT:

We resist on the homelands of sovereign Indigenous nations who have defended this place long before Wisconsin was named. Honoring their sovereignty means standing with their struggles, lifting their voices, and refusing the systems that continue to erase and exploit. Our liberation is bound together and none of us are free until all of us are free.
