Trempealeau: Weekly Power to the People Rally
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/962764/
Are you looking for a way to make a difference in you community?
Join us for a weekly rally on Saturdays in Trempealeau from 9-10:30am.
Eau Claire: Bridge Brigade - Monday Mornings
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/964761/
Meet on the Tower Bridge Overpass over WI-53 near Costco (off Black Avenue). Parking on Gooder & Tower, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
We provide physical messaging in the real world to connect with and activate voters to demonstrate that resistance is possible. Prepare to wave and generally have a good time.
Rules and Protocols
We avoid doing anything that could either harm ourselves or anyone else. This includes stepping into traffic, holding a sign where it could fall onto cars below, climbing fencing, etc.
We must not block pedestrian and bike traffic, so please keep the middle of the overpass and/or sidewalk clear to allow them to pass.
We supply the messages, you supply the waves. However, you are welcome to also display your own poster boards. Just avoid any messaging that would be rated above a PG-13.
We don’t litter. If we find litter, we pick it up and throw it away.
We are NOT allowed to attach the signs to the fencing on the overpass. We don’t use stickers or anything that leaves a permanent mark on the overpass. However, chalk is okay and even encouraged.
If someone from the ‘opposition’ comes up to talk with us, do not engage with them. Best to just ignore them. One member will be designated to handle them and video record any aggressive interaction so that you can go right on waving.
We take lots of pictures and videos during our action for circulation on social media. If you prefer not to be included, please let us know and/or consider wearing a mask.
Should law enforcement pay us a visit, only the designated point person from the group should address them.
Ignore the middle fingers and negativity coming from some of the cars below. For every one of those confused folks, you are providing hope to another 100 people!
The Visibility Brigade is a non-violent, informal volunteer group in which we all participate with an understanding that our own actions are our personal responsibility and we accept our own personal liability. You participate with this understanding.
See you at 7:30am for setup and 8:00am to wave!

New Richmond: Democracy Needs Your Courage
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/981117/
The Supreme Court just gutted the Voting Rights Act. Immigrant rights are under attack. And this week, Trump held Americans' housing relief hostage — refusing to sign a bipartisan bill passed 85-5 in the Senate — until Congress hands him his voter suppression wish list. This is what corruption looks like. This is why we show up. Join us at the corner. Bring your signs! Democracy doesn't defend itself.

Chippewa Falls: Healthcare is Critical in Chippewa Falls Protest
Healthcare is Critical in Chippewa Falls — Ambulance Tour
One year ago on the Fourth of July, Trump signed the Big Ugly Bill into law — stripping healthcare from millions of Americans, including an estimated 276,000 Wisconsinites, to fund tax cuts for corporations and billionaires. Wisconsin families are still paying the price. And Wisconsin hospitals are at risk of closure. We're hoping you won't let that anniversary pass quietly.
On June 23, 24, and 25, a statewide Wisconsin coalition is launching the Healthcare is Critical Ambulance Tour — even cities, seven hospitals or congressional offices that created that risk — one ambulance, and a unified demand for accountability.
Our goal is for community members and medical professionals to share their stories at every stop. We'll call out the politicians in each district who made this happen: Van Orden, Steil, and Wied. And with a new Wisconsin governor's race on the ballot in November, we'll make sure voters know exactly who Tom Tiffany is — the same Tom Tiffany who voted to take healthcare away from 276,000 of their neighbors and now wants to run the state.
Organized by: Birds on a Wire, Chippewa Valley Indivisible, Committee to Protect Healthcare, Opportunity Wisconsin, SEIU Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Working Families Power
Eau Claire: Healthcare is Critical in Eau Claire - Ambulance Tour
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/971469/
Wisconsin families are in crisis and Wisconsin hospitals are at risk of closure. When Tom Tiffany, Rep. Tony Wied , Rep Bryan Steil, and Rep. Derrick Van Orden voted for the "Big Ugly Bill," they chose tax cuts for corporations and billionaires over health care for working people. The consequences are real: an estimated 276,000 Wisconsinites are losing Medicaid coverage, ACA premiums have surged, and families across the state are being forced to choose between medical care and financial survival.
Join us in Eau Claire as the Ambulance Tour rolls into your community. You'll hear directly from medical professionals and community members about what these cuts mean on the ground — for patients, for families, and for Wisconsin's health care system.
We are calling on Rep. Tom Tiffany, Rep. Tony Wied , Rep Bryan Steil, and Rep. Derrick Van Orden to stop giving tax breaks to billionaires and to fund healthcare for the 276,000 wisconsinites that are going to lose it.

Eau Claire: D-Day Bridge Brigade
https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/957604/
D-Day Bridge Brigade — June 6th, 10am, Tower Drive, Eau Claire
On June 6, 1944, ordinary people did extraordinary things to defend democracy against fascism. This June 6th, we honor that legacy by taking it to the overpass. Join us for the D-Day Bridge Brigade on Friday, June 6th at 10am on Tower Drive in Eau Claire — part of a nationwide day of visibility actions happening in hundreds of communities across the country. Our focus is the traffic below — we'll be holding large overpass banners, waving flags, and showing the thousands of drivers passing underneath us that everyday citizens are standing up for democracy right here at home.
Feel free to bring a sign for drivers crossing above, but the real power is in what we show to the street below. Suggested messages include Honor Vets, Fight Fascism and Defend Our Constitution. The veterans who stormed those beaches weren't fighting for a political party — they were fighting for the right of people to have a say in their own government. That's exactly what's at stake right now, and that's exactly why we show up.

Medford: Weekly Saturday Protest
Our message is getting out to the people.
And we need to protest now, more than ever!!!!
The Democratic Party of Taylor County Wisconsin has scheduled
PROTESTS/RALLIES every Saturday from now on!
We are serious here folks!
Everyone in America must be able to
Speak Freely without threat of Censure or Violence.
Let's gather across from where the Medford Farmers Market
is held, at the intersections of Highways 64 and 13,
Between the hours of 10 am and 1pm.
Come Rain or Come Snow.
Please park where the old Dollar Store was.
Bring your signs, smiles, & cheers!
Invite your friends and families to join us!
This is not a Democratic Party Protest; It is for Everyone who is sick and tired of this regime.
Let's make this a BIG turnout!
More thought: We are here to support those who are opposed to this current administration, and the group is getting larger! We are here to show our opposition and to let the people know that they are not alone. We want to bring all who are undecided, or on the fence, into the fold, by providing them with the necessary, truthful information.
We do not want to do anything that might push people further away, or to become more divided, by insulting them. Let us speak kindly, and to the issues that unite us all!
