When families are torn apart in silence and communities are persecuted without consequence, the very bedrock of our democracy is shaken. Together, we must declare that justice, due process, and human rights are not privileges for some, but protections owed to us all.

The “Keep Families Together” bill package is a direct response. It says: not here, not in our state, not in our name. Each bill in this package targets a different way that authoritarian-style abuse takes root. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
