Bring your family-friendly protest signs and let’s march together!
MEET TIME: 9:30am (we’re toward the end of the parade)
MEETING PLACE: New York Ave. between 7th and 8th Streets. Basically right near the City Green Stage. Look for the Dems’ decorated truck and trailer. We’re told we can’t miss them!
BRING: Sun protection (sun cream, hat, sunglasses). Dems will have water provided but feel free to bring your own as well. Also bring your family-friendly signs, but the Dems will also have signs available. **NOTE: Because of your gracious sign donations, we have enough signs for Lakeshore Indivisible and ask that you no longer leave your signs with us at actions as we are officially overflowing in signs. Please take them with you. **
ROUTE: Parade starts at 8th St. & Center Ave. to Michigan Ave. We’ll turn right on Michigan Ave. toward the lake, ending up near the YMCA. It’s a little under a mile and a half.
