PLATES GO EMPTY BEGINNING SATURDAY: FoodShare Funding Cut—We Will Not Let Our Neighbors Go Hungry.

This is a moment of profound crisis. As of November 1st, FoodShare (SNAP) funding has been halted due to the federal government shutdown, directly impacting thousands of our neighbors—our children, seniors, veterans, and working families. This is not an accident; it is a calculated choice by the Administration to inflict pain.
Northern Lights Indivisible is turning our protest into an immediate act of relief.
On Saturday, we will launch an emergency food and fund drive for our hungry neighbors.
• WHAT: PLATES GO EMPTY TODAY Emergency Rally & Food Drive
• WHEN: Saturday, Nov 1st from Noon-2
• WHERE: All 4 corners of Stevens & Davenport Streets, Rhinelander
• BRING: Non-perishable food items (tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables, etc.) or cash donations for Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.

Our Message is Simple: "Plates Go Empty Today: This is More than Politics!
If you or someone you know is affected by the SNAP cutoff, please know you are not alone. Here are immediate local resources:
