Signs of Fascism actions are popping up around the nation in response to the current administration's unlawful actions. Citizens are organizing to hold signs that simply and clearly state some known indicators of fascist state activities from the 1930s to the current moment. The purpose of these actions is simple - to alert our fellow citizens, residents, motorists and passers-by about the seriousness of the moment and to spur them to action. The Western Dane Democracy Project has launched a local version in Madison, WI.

This action will be held on May 1, 2026 in support of the May Day actions occuring across the United States. The visibility event will be located downtown outside the Wisconsin GOP Headquarters.
