  • U.S. 63 & Wisconsin 27 Hayward, WI, 54843 United States (map)

https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/938572/

Stand up for workers at a MayDay Strong rally from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, May 1, on Democracy Corner in Hayward. That's the intersection of U.S. 63 and Wisconsin 27.

Many are refusing to conduct business as usual, supporting the theme: No School. No Work. No Shopping. Of course, we understand in these times you may have to work, go to school and shop, but if you can join us here’s what you can do!

· Bring signs expressing your beliefs and concerns.

· Stay peaceful.

· Dress for the weather, bring water, sunscreen or mittens as needed.

If you cannot join us, remember to:

· Shop local only; support the businesses that support our communities.

· Show your support by honking as you go by!!!

A food shelf collection station will be on site. Please bring non-perishable food or a cash donation.

This event is hosted by Up North Engaged and the Democratic Party of Sawyer County and Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation.
