Before we know it will be time for the Spring Primaries in Wisconsin. Join us on October 2, 2025 as we meet four people who will be in the primary for the House of Representatives Seat in the 6th CD. The four people joining us are:
Mike Heidenreich is running as a non-partisan and is a resident of Columbia County (Lodi). He is a lifelong Wisconsin resident, a husband, a father, and a union power plant worker. For 16 years he has been working in IBEW local 965.
Joey Marschall was born in Fond du Lac. He earned a high school diploma from Fond du Lac High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Marschall's career experience includes working in customer service.
John Macho is a retired U. S. Army Reserve veteran. He also served in the Peace Corps in Ghana. John has also worked as correctional officer and prison educator.
Aaron Wojciechowski is a lifelong Wisconsinite, raised in southern Wisconsin. Aaron moved to Oshkosh in 2015 to attend UW Oshkosh where he graduated with a degree in economics and political science.
The importance of this house race cannot be understated. The control of the house is up for grabs with the current balance razor thin: Republicans 219 seats, Democrats 213 seats with a few vacancies.
Whoever controls the House will steer the legislative agenda for the 120th Congress starting in 2027. A Democratic majority could act as a check on Trump’s administration, especially on issues like tax cuts and Medicaid reforms. A strengthened Republican majority could push through more of their policy priorities with less internal resistance.
The time to get involved in the 2026 elections is now! See you there!
