On March 22, 2024, the only hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, closed its doors forever. Declining Medicaid coverage was a key reason for the closure of St. Joseph's Hospital. Efforts to attract another hospital during the last year have failed in large part because of the concerns that Medicaid will be severely cut or eliminated by the Reconciliation Bill.

Now, the Senate has made the bill EVEN WORSE with draconian cuts that will severely harm rural hospitals. Join us outside St. Joseph's Hospital to PROTEST the proposed cuts and demand that the Senate reject this horrible bill.
