Be an ambassador for early voting by joining this special No Kings event on October 17. This is a fun, family friendly event with live music, games, jugglers. Costumes are encouraged to share your favorite Democracy super hero and join in the costumed conga line.

This will not be a rally, but instead be a lawful, non violent gathering of people who have had enough of all the stress and just want to get on with more early voting and the biggest voter turnout ever.

You may wonder why we are encouraging early voting so much. Early voting is the best way to protect your vote and make sure it counts. You can register online for a mail in ballot before October 14 at MyVote.wi.gov. Or you can vote early in person at your city clerk between October 20 and November 1. Check with your local clerk for their days and open hours.

Through this fun, we will be promoting early voting, voting with a friend and confirming your voter registration. Tools to share with others will include your voting rights and protection, talking points, the three amendments, the best online resource and a hotline for any voter disruption.

Did we mention that costumes are encouraged? It’s time to have some fun and Celebrate the Vote.

This event is coordinated by Fox Valley Indivisible. It will be a peaceful, friendly public gathering designed to build visibility, solidarity, and hope throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it's a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.

Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.

No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
