Fox Valley Indivisible is hosting a Fair Maps Rally in partnership with the Wisconsin Fair Maps coalition and others to advance the effort to eliminate gerrymandering of Federal and State electoral districts in Wisconsin.

May is the time for us to keep working on growing the solution to partisan impasse, bickering and downright not getting anything done in Wisconsin. Continued work on the Independent Redistricting Commission, that will result in the creation of Fair Maps for Wisconsin, will give us back our voices. The IRC will make sure legislators have to listen to our voices, the voters, and not just follow directives from legislative leaders. Many of those legislative leaders are “retiring” and not running for re-election.

So let’s take advantage of this opportunity to make sure future legislatures can not be gerrymandered.

Let’s make sure the voice of the voter is listened to and helps inform the future of Wisconsin.

Let’s rally and work on getting candidates to pledge their support for legislation creating and implementing an Independent Redistricting Commission for Wisconsin!
