Our next event is part of a nationwide 50501 protest - DARE TO FIGHT FASCISM - Saturday AUG 2nd - from 10AM until NOON.
Meet at the parking area at 300 N Water St across from the American Legion.

Our peaceful walk will take us east along Hwy 59 to the Mobil Station and back through Albany and across the river bridge. Bring a sign, borrow one of ours, or just walk with us in solidarity. Join the walk at any time - stay for as little or as long as you like. If you'd rather sit, bring a chair and meet under the shady tree on the NW corner of Sugar River Parkway and Hwy 59.

This is a grassroots effort and is not run by politicians or any political party. We are ordinary, hardworking Americans - your friends and neighbors - who believe in decency, democracy, and civil liberties for ALL people. We are non-violent, caring, informed, and determined - and we are driven to act out of our own sense of what is right. The 50-50-1 Movement believes that organized PEOPLE POWER is strong! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
