The Republican administration hopes to cut 880 BILLION from the Medicaid Budget. What does this mean for Wisconsin? Who receives benefits in our community? 1 in 7 of adults 19-64 1 in 3 children 4 in 7 nursing home patients 1 in 6 Medicare beneficiaries 1 in 3 people with disabilities. Medicaid funds healthcare, SNAP benefits, school nurses and counselors, administrative aid for programs: social workers, claim processors, child support collection, and 50% of ADRC funding. Medicaid cuts jeopardizes our schools, our nursing homes and our critical care hospitals. Today we stand by our neighbors to protect these life-saving and protective services!
