Memorial Day weekend is a time to mourn, to honor and to celebrate the lives and legacies of the brave men and women who fought and died in order to maintain our freedoms.

Democracy and the Constitution are once again under attack...this time by forces within our own nation. The rights of our veterans are being ignored, their sacrifice dishonored, and programs supporting and protecting them are being de-funded. But as we mourn the dead, we also need to fight for the living.

Freedom is not free. Stand up for veterans and freedom by joining us for a peaceful protest at the Veterans Memorial in Prairie du Chien.

Plan to speak out by displaying a sign to honor the memory of those who have died, to support living veterans and their families, or other signs supporting the freedoms that are at risk in our country.
