D-Day for Democracy Vigil
Veterans Memorial Park, 625 52nd Street, Kenosha, WI 53140
Friday , June 6th • 7–9 PM

Join us for a powerful evening of remembrance and reflection as we honor the heroes of WWII and all who have stood—and still stand—against fascism.

We invite you to bring a photo of a veteran you wish to honor and invite any veterans you know to attend. This community vigil will include candlelight, shared memories, and the stories of those who served.

If you or someone you know would like to share a story about their military service or about a loved one who served, we welcome you to do so during the event.

Candles will be provided for all attendees.
The event will be emceed by Gwen Firmin and will feature guest speakers, including local veterans from Kenosha.

Let us come together in solemn unity to remember the sacrifices made for democracy—and to reaffirm our commitment to protect it.

This a no sign event, meaning please do not bring any protest signs to this event.

If you have family and friends who are not on Facebook but would still like to attend, they may sign up at:
