Wisconsin is ready and prepared to respond to Donald Trump's deployment of the national guard and ICE agents in Chicago.

Trump has expressed that Chicago could expect this deployment to happen as early as this week.

We've already seen the chaos this fascist government has caused in L.A. and D.C. The political theater our government is enacting is hurting immigrants, the unhoused population, and other vulnerable citizens. 

Wisconsin is going to send a clear message: stay out of our cities and off our streets. We are prepared to stand with Chicago in solidarity by doing the following:

1) Minimizing the actual impact of the guard in Chicago by providing direct intervention

2) Encourage resistance in Chicago by showing strong regional support

3) Create a strong rapid response system that can be used if Wisconsin is ever in the same situation

We are currently on stand-by.

If troops arrive before 3PM, the protests will start at 6PM the same day in Madison and Milwaukee. If troops arrive after 3PM, the protests will start at 6PM the next day.
